TICKETINO - Solid result in the 2017 financial year

The specialist for ticket sales and guest management continued to grow in the double-digit percentage range in 2017. The EBITDA targets were achieved and the outlook for the coming financial year is promising.

More and more event organisers are using TICKETINO's easy-to-use platform and benefiting from the ticket distributor's wide range of marketing services. Over 70,000 events have been organised via TICKETINO since 2008 and a ticket volume of over CHF 200 million has been processed.

In the guest management sector, a steadily growing number of companies are placing their trust in the market leader's all-round service. Valuable new key accounts were acquired in this segment in particular in 2017.

The company's innovative range of services is finding more and more users every year. The ticket distributor automates guest management and event marketing for organisers of all kinds and opens up the most important sales channels fully automatically.

All it takes is a few clicks and tickets are available at over 1600 physical advance booking offices (including Swiss Post, BLS and SOB), by telephone via 24/7 call centres and search engine-optimised on the Internet. Organisers achieve enormous savings by outsourcing entire business processes, such as automated collection, and always have an overview of all processes thanks to the intuitive, self-service system.

Thanks to more efficient processes, the price leader was able to further reduce fees in individual segments last year. In addition, free events can now be placed on the platform free of charge.

2017 was also characterised by technical innovations: The newly implemented ticket shop is "state of the art" both visually, technically and in terms of search engine optimisation and offers unprecedented possibilities in the area of marketing controlling thanks to the integration of Google Analytics. Thanks to automated tracking control of ticket buyers, event organisers can for the first time understand consumer behaviour in detail, adapt their communication to current needs and control the marketing of their events in line with target groups. The newly developed ScanApp was also successfully tested and launched at the beginning of the year.

In addition, cooperation with up-and-coming media companies such as LikeMag and guidle has recently been intensified. TICKETINO customers thus benefit from an even broader and more far-reaching media presence.

TICKETINO sees itself more and more as a marketing partner for events of all kinds and has been offering event organisers the opportunity to book individually tailored marketing packages for some time now. Michael Marti, Head of Marketing at TICKETINO, is convinced that with marketing based primarily on social media and native advertising, it is possible to achieve a significantly higher return per advertising franc invested than would be possible with conventional print advertising.

In the coming year, TICKETINO is again expecting growth in the double-digit percentage range and intends to further capitalise on the positive market environment. Organisers benefit from TICKETINO's wide range of services and expanded on-site services such as badging (name badge printing at the event) or the diverse admission control solutions. The TICKETINO Cockpit will also be technically revised to make event management and retrieving statistics even easier for organisers in future.
